Privacy Policy
Usually is a habit tracker. Your goals, your marks and everything you type stay on your iPhone. The app has no account, no analytics and no ads, and it sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. Usually does not collect, send or store any of your data on a server. There is no server: the app works entirely on your device.
Where your data lives
- Goals, marks and text you type are stored on your iPhone and shared only with Usually’s own widgets and controls on the same device.
- Apple Health. If you create a goal from Apple Health, the app reads the values that goal needs (for example, steps) to close the day for you. It never writes to Apple Health, and Health data never leaves your device.
- Backups. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, iOS includes the app’s data in that backup, as it does for every app. We cannot see it.
What Apple may share with us
If you allowed it in your iPhone settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers), Apple may share aggregated statistics and crash reports with us through App Store Connect. Apple collects them under Apple’s own privacy policy. They do not include your goals, marks or Health data, and you can turn sharing off there at any time.
Diagnostics
The app keeps crash and performance reports from iOS (MetricKit) on your device. They are never sent anywhere by the app.
Deleting your data
Delete the app, and everything it stored on your iPhone is deleted with it. To delete a single goal and its history, press and hold the goal on the Today screen and choose Delete.
Children
Usually is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. It does not collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, it will ask you first, and this policy will say exactly what and why.
